Delivery/Manufacture of 45 kg Marijuana — Not Guilty (Bench Trial)

A 37-year-old man was charged in Wayne County’s 3rd Circuit Court with the delivery and manufacture of 45 kilograms of marijuana. The offense carried a maximum penalty of up to seven years in prison and a fine of up to $500,000.

Attorney Carl Jordan filed a waiver of trial by jury and was successful in quashing information in the case. On July 14, 2017, after a bench trial, the judge found the defendant Not Guilty. His fingerprints and arrest records were returned, and he left the courtroom without a criminal record.
