A Detroit man faced three extremely serious felony charges — carjacking, armed robbery, and felony firearm — after two individuals reported that he robbed them at gunpoint and drove away in their vehicle. He was later found in a motel room with the victims’ credit cards, which had been used to pay for the room. He admitted using the credit cards but denied involvement in the robbery and carjacking.
The case proceeded to trial at the Frank Murphy Hall of Justice in Detroit.
