Carl Jordan: From Prosecutor To Defender
Before founding my own firm, I served as an assistant prosecutor in Wayne County, Michigan. Handling hundreds of criminal cases, I saw firsthand how convictions can destroy lives — a realization that led me to dedicate my career to defending the accused.
I founded the Carl Jordan Law Firm in Southfield in 2003 to focus exclusively on criminal defense across Metro Detroit. Every case is built on facts, strategy and understanding — turning each client’s story into a strong, human-centered defense.
Background And Community Work
I earned a B.A. in history from Hampton University and my Juris Doctor from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. A devoted father to my daughter, who attends Princeton University, I mentor Detroit youth and speak at local schools, inspiring hope and responsibility in the next generation.
